Everybody's Workin' for The Scotland!

This week is flying by! There are journals to be written, lessons to be planned, and field placements to be had! And somewhere in it all, fun sticks its head in. Yesterday our group went down to The Fiveways Pub for desserts. It was a nice time to just all chill together, have some laughs, and not have to worry about all the work ahead of us. The workload has not been bad at all, what makes it hard is being gone on weekends. That is usually prime time for doing projects and such but we're always on trips. Hey, I'd rather be seeing the world than my computer screen!

Today we went to The Slave Museum and the Maritime Museum in downtown Liverpool. There was Titanic stuff in there which was very cool. Other than that, I found it difficult to relate to the exhibits. Just not my cup o tea, I guess.

A model of the most famous ship in the world!
Artifacts, including a maid's uniform, recovered from the ship.
Perspective. It's heavy stuff.
Vintage advertisement and a photo of the ship.

At the Maritime Museum, there was an exhibit on being gay and in the Navy.
And I found this picture amongst the different displays in the exhibit...
Definitely NOT Kansas!
An African costume. Inspired by Elvis?

After that, a group of us went to Liverpool One (the ginormous shopping plaza). I dropped a wad of cash. You can't take it with you! : )

My brother's heaven!
Ye Tunnel o LFC.
Watch your back, Gerrard!
Mugging with my pal Woodie!

I'm super tired and just want to fall into bed. I'm not sure if I'll be able to post anything before we leave for Scotland. We will be leaving Friday morning and getting back Monday afternoon-ish.

Send your prayers for safety for us!

Love you all!
